Three days of hands-on skill development
Recent studies confirm average maintenance productivity hovering at a staggering 25%! This reality resides at the core of a fundamental maintenance paradigm: as maintenance & reliability professionals, how can we find time to work on improving reliability with growing backlogs and restrictive maintenance budgets?
The capacity answer is found by identifying and removing day-to-day waste found in our existing systems. This waste hides in tasks which are often considered part of “just the way it is” and frequently blends into the background.

| 2. With freed Capacity; Do the Right Work |
You will be able to Identify your hidden capacity through Value-Stream Mapping for Maintenance.
At the onset of every successful LEAN effort resides a powerful tool which creates awareness, identifies value-added steps vs. Muda (waste), and creates a sense of urgency to take the correct action immediately. Value Stream Mapping (VSM) as well as all other LEAN tools can be translated and applied directly to your maintenance process.
Bring your own data for this hands-on workshop! LAI will conduct a preceding web session, providing students a workbook to collect sample data used in this working session.
What you’ll Learn:
